This concept of practicing yoga started very spontaneously for me. The need to take care of my body, but also my face, was complemented by some visible changes on my face and neck, and by thinking about how I want to take care of myself and my appearance.
Today, the market is flooded with offers, everyone can find something for themselves, but in our offer and demand, we have tied ourselves to the concept of MINDFUL BEAUTY or CONSCIOUS BEAUTY.
What does this concept mean in the Face yoga by Ivana framework?
What are we aware of?
- Yourself and your inner state at this moment and in accordance with the current external conditions!
- We respect the situation when choosing exercises, preparations and rituals that we introduce into life!
- We are aware of what is useful for us and what is not, and with tenderness, instead of judgment and criticism, we approach ourselves.
- We are not uncritically subject to trends and promises, but we are happy to test novelties.
- We believe and know that the face is a collection and reflection of everything that happens in our physical, emotional and mental body and that it is inseparable from it!
- We nurture a proage or wellage philosophy instead of an antiage philosophy that does not fit into a mindful story at all!
- We don’t force ourselves, but we don’t make excuses either! We diligently do our routines!
- We are aware of the need for constant adaptation and we do not run away from it!
A new person entered the Face yoga by Ivana story. In addition to me, who designs the exercises and focused on gua sha treatments, Trešnja Šarčević, a person with vast experience in the world of cosmetics and a holistic approach, is now in our team.
The 2 of us create MONTHLY CYCLES together. What is that? This is your monthly package of exercises and facial massage, as well as breathing exercises and meditation. Every month we carefully design and shoot a new package because, as we mentioned, our faces, our skin and ourselves need something new every month. It’s not the same to exercise in August and December! Each of us records our part of the material, and it arrives to you in a package. Morning practices, evening practices, shorter and longer sets of exercises.
What do we want to give you? The opportunity to take care of yourself and your face in the best possible way, to see and feel positive changes in yourself and in yourself, and to have a healthy and natural way of care that brings long-term and sustainable results.
Beauty is also important to us, and even more so is the feeling that we have done something good for ourselves and that we are ready for the day after some practice. It is a mistake to think that beauty and appearance should not matter to us. I agree, it shouldn’t be the only thing we deal with, but the awareness of taking care of our own body and face, which results in a better appearance, is the right measure that each of us should carry within ourselves, as part of our responsibility towards ourselves.
Our body is the space we live in, so just like the space we live in, it needs to be maintained.
