Dancing is a low-load activity of varying intensity. It is an ideal activity for any person, regardless of age and physical condition. Dancing is a physical activity that simultaneously asks us to engage our two most important muscles. Our brain and our heart. The heart will start at the slightest signal, but in order to dance we need to enable our brain to receive and process information. When engaging cognitive processes, information is transformed into a harmonious movement of our arms and legs. In addition to affecting the brain and body, dancing also develops the social component and encourages socialization. Dancing affects the release of endorphins and dopamine, which have a positive effect on an individual’s mood.
It includes coordination between music, movement, spatial orientation with or without a partner, and improvisation. By learning new steps, movements or choreography, we train our brain and our body, master new skills and at the same time strengthen our self-confidence.
Dance comes in many variations. That’s why my mission is EVERYONE CAN DANCE! Dance is an activity that is intended for everyone from children to adults.
