We are slowly approaching the end of summer according to the calendar, but also the peach season, so it is the ideal time to make another recipe with this fruit. We usually eat peaches in their original form, so juicy and ripe that their juice literally runs down your elbow, but if you ask me, you’ll get the best of peaches if you put them on the grill. The grilled peach is the star of this summer sandwich, but the other ingredients are no less important.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 peach
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 slices of ham or prosciutto
- 1 tumbler
- Half a teaspoon of honey
- A couple of basil leaves
- 2 slices of bread
PREPARATION:
- Spread the bread evenly and set aside.
- Wash the peaches and dry well. Cut them into slices.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter on a heated grill pan, then place the peaches on the melted butter. Bake them on both sides for about 2 minutes.
- First spread the buratta on the toasted bread, then add the ham, grilled peaches and basil.
- Finally, pour a little honey over everything.
- Enjoy!
