Sound is an integral part of our life. We are constantly surrounded by various sounds in the environment, traffic on the roads, birds in the forest, music on the radio, speech. Each sound enters us in the form of a vibration. Our brain turns that vibration into something we hear, and everything that enters us has a certain effect on our body, mind and emotions.
We can conclude that sound and music are very important for our life by things that are very close and familiar to us. Mothers have always sung lullabies to their babies, while soldiers had their own songs that boosted their morale and gave them extra strength for battle. In almost all traditions, sound and rhythm are part of all ceremonies, rituals, weddings and funerals. We see that in all important events sound and rhythm have their role.
What is sound therapy?
Sound therapy is a form of therapy that involves the use of the voice and various instruments for the purpose of healing, inducing joy and achieving higher states of consciousness.
Sound healing, using various techniques and technologies, is the educated and conscious use of sound energy to achieve desired goals and promote well-being in the human system, including expanding consciousness. Sound healing is based on the premise that all matter vibrates at certain frequencies.
The conscious use of sound energy and intention is what I think is the key to this whole story. To make things clearer, think of intention as the consciousness of the created sound. We can see sound as a transmitter of consciousness. Depending on where the individual’s consciousness is at the time it produces the sound, the sound will convey the information of that state to the person who will receive the sound. If, for example, we are angry and we produce a sound from that state, although that sound may be pleasant in itself, anger will be included in that sound and this will be perceived at the subtle levels of the people receiving the sound. Intention includes the general condition of the person creating the sound that includes mental, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects.
That part is very important, especially if you research “sound healing” you may come across different people or teachings using the same frequency or voice to heal different things. One of the pioneers in this field in the West touched on this case in his book and finally came to the following formula – FREQUENCY + INTENTION = HEALING – the intention of the person who works with sound is as important as the frequency that is projected on the person who receives it. sound to bring about healing.
Sound baths
The most famous and popular form of sound therapy today are “sound baths”.
Here is a short definition of what a sound bath is:
A sound bath is a meditative experience achieved by the sounds of ancient instruments such as gongs, sound bowls and drums, which have been used for healing purposes since ancient times. Bathed in the frequencies and vibrations of these instruments while lying in a comfortable position, our body and mind enter a deep state of relaxation, which is a prerequisite for initiating self-healing processes such as detoxification, regeneration and revitalization. From this state, we are able to heal, release negative beliefs and blockages that keep us trapped.
What is a little less known, or when people hear it, they think it’s all a sound bath, is “Sound Massage”. In my case it is Sound Massage according to the Peter Hess method. I personally like the method very much because it brings us back to tenderness and simplicity. In short, the main difference between a sound bath and a sound massage is that only sound bowls that are specially made for therapeutic purposes are used in a sound massage. These sound bowls are placed directly on the body, and by sounding them, we bring them into a vibration that spreads through our entire body. Due to the fact that we are composed of 80% water, these vibrations spread through our entire organism and massage each of our cells and organs. So, it is not actually massaged by sound, but by vibration. Sound affects our mental, which when we add everything together, we have one holistic method that affects our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects. Each of these aspects is equally important to live in balance.

1934 An American team of doctors moved 16 terminally ill patients to a place where they were exposed to the frequencies recommended by Raymond Rife for 90 days. Between 70 days, it was reported that 14 patients were cured and the other 2 were cured after another 20 days.
On TedEx’s YouTube channel, you can also find Dr. Anthony Holland showing how they “smashed” a tumor using resonant frequency. Just as a glass breaks when a singer sings at the same resonant frequency as the glass vibrates, so they found the resonant frequency of cancer and destroyed it. Why is this not talked about more? Why is money not invested in the development of this type of treatment? Questions that I believe should not even be answered.
My intention with this article was just to bring you a little closer and make you aware that sound therapy is not something new and was not invented by charlatans who want to make money. Sound therapy has always been with us. It has only now received a name and it sounds a little strange and unconvincing to us when we hear it for the first time. But just remember how many times the sound of traffic annoys you, how many times music lifts your spirits, how many times it comforts you when you are sad. Why do you automatically make an “AAAAAA” sound when you hit something and it hurts? Apparently that “AAA” eases our pain. And what does laughter sound like? HAHAHA? “A” again? Hmm, interesting. You didn’t even know you were a sound therapist. All of these are indicators of the power that sound has to affect us constructively or destructively. But since it’s been with us all our lives, we take it for granted and haven’t delved a little deeper into why and how.
