As a loving couple who started their business story out of pure love for creation and for each other, we always point out that creating Lykke jewelry is not a job for us, but a passion we live.
When we decided to start the Lykke brand, our guiding thought and decision was to create something that we will leave as a legacy to our descendants. Guided by this thought, we wanted all our customers to feel the energy that jewelry carries, and what kind of feeling it is, is hidden in the very name Lykke, which means “happiness” in Danish.
Since there are things that make us happy everywhere, we just need to find them, we wanted through personalized Lykke jewelry to give our customer the opportunity to give jewelry that is worn, but also felt.
At the beginning of 2019, Lykke changed the perception of jewelry as a fashion accessory and offered something more, with a scent that awakens the senses, and behind the design is the story of each individual locket. Thus, we have the opportunity to give a memory that primarily carries emotional value and evokes fond memories.
Scents evoke memories, emphasize our personality and influence our mood. It is known that essential oils, which have been used since ancient times in aromatherapy, can influence the state of mind. That is exactly why Lykke Scent Medallions come in a package with two essential oils. It is enough to put a few drops of essential oil on the sponge located in the heart of the fragrant medallion and then for days enjoy its properties that slowly release fragrant notes – lavender for relaxation, orange to restore energy, rose to lift the mood… Alternatively, you can apply your favorite perfume and enjoy its rich fragrance for as long as you want.
The collection of scented medallions comes in more than 20 different variants that you can personalize in several ways when shopping:
- by choosing the desired motif of the medallion (motif of nature, Croatian heritage, religious motif…)
- with free engraving of your choice
- by choosing gilding in silver, gold or rose gold color
- by choosing two essential oils that come complete with a locket and a necklace
- In the set you also get 10 different colored sponges that you can then change depending on your outfit and the scent you want to wear that day
Many do not know that the origin of medallions goes back a long way in history. Portraits of ladies from the 16th century confirm that scented pendants date back to the Renaissance when they were worn attached to a necklace around the neck. And they contained fragrant substances such as aromatic herbs, spices, fragrant rubber and the like.
The pendants represented small masterpieces, bright and vivid color combinations, as Lykke fragrance medallions represent today, made of high-quality surgical steel with 18 carat gold plating. Our mission is to revive history, add some color to it and adapt traditional pieces of jewelry to today’s fashion and trends.
